Here it is–for some reason I’m not able to embed it, but C-SPAN has the video of my Washington DC talk on The Fever in their online video archive.

It’s been brought to my attention–by Mark Powell, of Arlington, VA–that I misspoke during the lecture, and said that hundreds of thousands of French workers died of malaria and yellow fever while attempting to build the Panama Canal. My apologies! The figure is the still-shocking tens of thousands of workers. Thankfully, I got it right in the book (page 151 for those of you inclined to check).
Many years ago the EPA banned DDT even though Rickelhouse head of the EPA did not even read the the benefits of DDT. Since that time many millions of people have died from malaria.DDT is the answer. The developer of DDT proved that DDT is safe to spray and even ate several tablespoons of it.My backround is biology and chemistry and 41 yers in the chemical industry.Nets will not do the job.Remember that
everything is chemical and thousands of products come from oil and coal. Most people do not understand chemicals because
they are brain washed by uniformed people. Bill Markham
